Could Cryolipolysis be the body sculpting solution for you?

Most of us have them; those wobbly bits that we don’t like and make us a little self-conscious on the beach or in our underwear.

Whether it’s bingo wings, saddle bags, wobbly thighs or a muffin top you want to get rid of, there is now a non-surgical procedure to reduce unwanted fat and give us a more streamlined and toned body without having to undergo invasive and painful treatment.

Cryolipolysis

Cryolipolysis (or fat freezing) is a new treatment that many celebrities and stars are turning to for amazing results.  Colleen Rooney, Made in Chelsea’s Binky Felstead and Celebrity Big Brother contestant Luisa Zissman are just a few women who have recently had the treatment to slim down problem areas, with very visible success.

What is Cryolipolysis?

Cryolipolysis is a fairly new technique that uses a hand held device to freeze up to 40% of fat in the cells down to -6ºC.

During the treatment, the frozen fat cells become crystalised and are then disposed of by the body naturally via the liver and lymphatic system over the course of two to three months.

There is no pain involved in the procedure, although clients do comment on a cooling sensation whilst having the treatment.  And unlike some other non-invasive fat reducing techniques, you are not required to exercise immediately afterwards to get rid of the fat.

The technique can be used on any area of the body that is of concern to you, although larger areas may need more than one treatment.

Is Cryolipolysis Safe?

Yes, it is extremely safe.  The process only targets fat cells, so no other healthy cells will be affected by the treatment.

Could Cryolipolysis Work for Me?

If you can pinch more than an inch of fat in a problem area then Cryolipolysis can definitely work for you.  Cryolipolysis is great for removing stubborn areas of fat that remain despite exercise and dieting.

Cryolipolysis should not be used as a weight-loss treatment as it can only target relatively small areas of the body.  The technique works best on people who are physically well and fit.

How Long is a Session?

Depending on the part of the body you wish to be treated, Cryolipolysis can take between one and three hours to complete.  In most cases one treatment is enough to see a visible difference over time.
